A Wish was received by a member of staff in Theatres at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. They wished for their pediatrics recovery area to be more child friendly, helping children who are coming round from anesthetic to feel more calm and relaxed.
We have brightened up the area with a Health Tree branded wall vinyl, and beautiful sky ceiling tiles, similar to the lift that is used by the Rainforest ward 🐒 🦒 🦓
The before and after photos can be seen below. We hope its makes a great difference to children who are receiving care in theatres

🏔️ Three Peaks Challenge for a Cause! 🏔️
Nicky and team took on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Dr. Kamath, to benefit patients suffering with Parkinson’s at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. Their amazing donation will go towards supporting patients and helping them receive the care and treatments they desperately need.

They managed to raise a fabulous £2248.72!

These were requested for the SDEC/AAU quiet rooms at both Scunthorpe Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby.
It makes such a difference to patients using these areas
