Annual dinner raises funds for urology patients

An annual dinner raised a massive £700 which will be used to help local urology patients across North Lincolnshire.

Members of the North Lincolnshire section of the Institute of Measurement and Control chose to donate to the urology fund at The Health Tree Foundation.

Each year the institute hosts an annual dinner for its 150 plus members of instrument engineers and they hold a raffle on the night with the proceeds going to a local charity.

Chair of the institute Rob Ingham said: “As we are an all-male committee we felt it was fit and poignant to donate the proceeds from this year’s raffle to supporting men’s health in the local area.”

Anne Whittingham, specialist urology nurse said: “We very much appreciate this extremely kind donation for the service.”

Our fantastic donors help us to help…
