Are you wearing your Christmas Jumper?

Staff, patients and family across the hospitals are being asked to wear their cosy Christmas jumpers and raise money for their local hospital.

The National Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, December 15th will see festive fundraisers getting into the Christmas spirit all over the country.

The Health Tree Foundation (HTF), the official charity for Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole hospitals, is asking people to wrap up in their seasonal sweaters and raise money for local patients.

Laura Gooderham, community champion for HTF, said: “We are inviting everyone in the hospital to take part in this festive fundraising event.

“Pull out your winter woollies and choose your local hospital to donate to. People can donate to any part of the hospital they choose. Whether it’s A & E or the neonatal unit, any department you think needs your donations the most.”

HTF are suggesting a recommended donation of £1 per jumper.
